The Killer App for Mobile Porn
Sir Rodney’s friend Booble Bob Smart has been futzing around with wireless porn for some time now trying to figure out how hard he has to squeeze it to make money come out. Keep squeezing, Bob. Porn, on a cell phone, or any other hand held device, while portable, is a novelty, not JOM (jack off material). Hardly, we thought cynically, a killer app. That is, until Sony launched its new PSP handheld media center last month. Now Sir Rodney has to take everything back and reconsider. With the help of the PSP and a little hacking (required to get around Sony’s proprietary media system), you could be holding high res porn movie in one hand, your dick in the other as early as tonight.
The PSP, for those of you who live under a rock, is Sony’s the new multimedia device that plays games, mp3 music, photos and movies. Yes, movies. A USB connector allows you to plug it into your pc, although apparently the PSP is also wifi capable. Once connected to a pc, the PSP operates like any storage device. You can easily download porn onto this baby and then wack away, while everyone thinks you’re playing games.
You don’t have to be a media critic to see the potential of this $200 device to change porn-as-we-know-it, again. Bob was there first, but we are not far behind him. No one falls in quite like the lemmings in online porn and mainstream media is never far behind.
