Brave New Porn World
As we’ve said before, Sir Rodney tries to stay on top of porn-related tech, such as Sony’s new PSP. So we are pretty interested in MyPornFeed, a mega-blog that allows fans to subscribe to all the posts for one niche, say, big tit porn.
Chief Monkey, it’s webmaster, explains his focus on RSS feeds by pointing to the BBC’s extensive use of them. He says that the bbc.co.uk is one of the top 5 most visited sites in the world. Ok, we buy that RSS feeds help with that, by they are the BBC for crying out loud. In stating the purpose of his site, Chief Monkey adds:
“I wish the site to become a genuine, quality adult entertainment site… a hub… a place where a surfer can browse easily and get to the type of content they really want.I still consider Blogging to be an emerging sector of the adult industry (even the mainstream, how many of your non webmaster friends are up with blogs?) it’s young and has the potential to shake up the TGP market (I’m sure it wont kill it though ;o) ).”
Sir Rodney has an adult rss feed, and we heard a rumor that Booble wanted to start an adult rss search, 
but it appears Booble still uses its index to list the whole sex blog site. For RSS to get really popular, we think there’s got to be some killer app. The ubiquitous ipod allows you to download “podcasts” which are basically feeds with audio or video content. Sex story sites, take note. No one is really doing podcasts of naughty stories (yet).
