Reality Porn Innovators Sued
The famous “Bang Bros” company of sites is getting sued by the government.
Why? Because of spam. The associated press reported last week that
“Federal regulators accused seven companies Wednesday of
hiring others to send illegal e-mails with pornographic messages to tempt
consumers to visit adult Internet sites.”
This article is right to nail spammers. But it paints the adult companies as complicit. The fact is, spam is illegal. The porn companies do everything they can to discourage spam. The porn companies hire people to promote their sites, and sometimes these individuals don’t play by the rules. It’s like blaming Coca Cola if some crazy salesmen throws a coke can at you and it hits you in the head. Obviously, Coca Cola does not condone that kind of sales tactic.
Sir Rodney stands by the `Bros, because they basically invented our cherished reality porn genre. When everyone else in the industry was banking on the reliable “suck and fuck,” these sites took the risk of adding sexy reality elements to their porn. Here are some reviews of Bang Bros’ sites.

The Bang Bros invented “reality” porn? I don’t think so. Homegrown video was doing gonzo and reality with consumer equipment in the 80s.

Yeah, I guess it would be more accurate to say the Bang Bros were the first to market online reality porn aggressively, and that this influenced a lot of other sites.
