The Porn Pundit wouldn’t be the Porn Pundit if he didn’t jack off to several sites each month while watching downloads or streaming video (editor’s note: PP is modest. We have it on good authority that he is spanking the monkey all day long. SR). It really wilts my willie when my favorite porn sites force me to manage files while managing my manhood.

I refer to the practice of dividing worthwhile videos into many segments, pieces and parts. Back in the days when connections were slow, before the widespread usage of DSL and cable connections, this did have the benefit of allowing better download quality at dialup speeds, but with today’s fast internet connections there is no such excuse for this practice.

Just yesterday Sir Rodney asked me to look at Domme Lady (review), a new BDSM site. The written intros looked oh-so-hot but when I tried downloading one 20-minute video I found it was divided into no less than twenty-six segments. Now imagine if you will the sight of poor Pundit having to manipulate his tool (scary isn’t it) in fifty-second intervals. It isn’t pretty. One of my favorite porn networks is called “Brain Cash” and it supports Sir Rodney’s Pick Peter North (review), as well as Christine Young (review), Lex Steele (review), Sweet Amy Lee (review) and others. Great sites, great movies - terrible user experience because the movies are just chopped into too many damn segments.

I used to dis the Bang Bros. because they did the same thing as Brain Cash. Recently, they upgraded to much higher quality one-click downloads and, even though their trial is a rip-off, it caused me to revise my entire opinion about their many hot sites, like Mr. Cameltoe (review), Big Tits Round Asses (review), and Mom’s Anal Adventure (review). One-click downloads make the entire experience a pleasure, over and over again. Never again will this porn fan find himself victimized by some dumbass webmaster cutting a video just as the action is most heated and the plumbing just about to pop.

My absolute two favorite sites, My Friend’s Hot Mom (review), and Velvet Ecstasy (review) provide fantastic J.O.M., allowing users to download the entire movie in one click. In fact, Velvet Ecstasy has the best-quality videos I have yet seen presented on the web. The outstanding and titillating amateur site Firegirls.com (review) decided almost a year ago to drop segmented videos in favor of the “one-slug” download, and it’s been great for their sales. All porn webmasters need to get off their lazy, cheap butts and get with the program.
