A Conversation with a brilliant European webmaster sheds light on how porn sites are built and marketed.

Sir Rodney recently added Hot Mom Next Door to his list of top picks. This was a tough call for a site that mostly recycles DVDs into uncredited scenes, but it’s done with incredibly good taste, and it’s very easy to use. And there’s no better full membership for $14.95, other than Videobox. Also, we like the Eastern European webmaster, Andrej, who we interviewed via email.

Sir Rodney: Where do you get your movies? Are they exclusive? Who directs them? What can you tell us about the models? How many movies total are there on the site? How often is it updated?

Andrej: The movies are not exclusive on this site; I get them from various producers, mostly from LA. But it takes me ages to find good scenes, because I always try to follow my story: older mom who fucks the young guy next door. A friend of her son, or son of her friend. There are 63 full movies on the site right now and it’s updated weekly. Even though sometimes it happens that I’m working on more scenes at one time and need 2 weeks for a new update, but then I have scenes for 1-2 months in advance ready. So I do what I can to make my members happy I have polls in the members area and do what they want me to do.
SR: How many total movies on the site? In the network? Which are your favorites? How do you find your scenes? I’d like to know more about the selection process. Are they from recent DVDs? From which studios? Why don’t you credit the performers? How long have you been a webmaster? How long has your company been in business? How many employees do you have? Were you in the adult business before this? We see you have a lot of sister sites included with your subscription - that’s good. So do you move scenes from licensed DVDs into the appropriate sites? There must be a lot of crossover. Yes? Also, why no hardcore on the tranny site?

Andrej: 63 total movies on the site and 300 in the network (with throatfucknextdoor). My favorites are hotmoms and girlvoyeur I buy scenes from both movie producers or companies who license the DVDs. So some are from DVDs, some from other sources. For example, throat fuck is all exclusive. Made by the guy from adultczechcontent.com. I don’t credit the performers, because members love the theme, and they love the story I have for each video. They imagine it’s real, so no need to destroy the fantasy with credits. I’ve been a webmaster since 2001. I started during university Nextdoorcash was officially launched in 2004, September to be exact. I’d been working on it since February, I think, waiting for ccbill EU to come, etc. By the way, there is no crossover on the sites. When I get content from a DVD, it has to be a clear niche DVD, so all scenes are for 1 site only. About the tranny site, it’s new, just a few weeks old I think, it has only small traffic until now, but I’m already looking for some hardcore movies for the site. Oh, and about employees, I have none. When I need some work done, like text, design, scripts, etc, I always pay people for this work and that’s it. I have already a small list of reliable people who I do work with, but nobody is paid a monthly salary. Only the government because of taxes. lol

SR: So why do you pick one movie, but not another? Are there movies on a DVD that you might license but that you don’t use? Who is your favored U.S. provider? Why? When you say the movies on throatfucknextdoor are exclusive, you mean the producer from CZ won’t put them on DVD or sell to other webmasters? How many movies are there on that site? Is it live and part of the next door network? Whose idea was the next door network? Who writes the stories? Have you ever been to the States? Which do you think is better, US or euro porn?

Andrej: Sometimes I do not pick a movie because I don’t like the mom; she is either too young or I just like how she looks. It happens that I license a whole DVD but then use only 1 scene out of 5, because I think the other 4 are not good enough for the site. My favorite provider is worldwidecontent at the moment, but don’t tell them that, because they would be too self-opinionated lol…

The movies on TFND are exclusive, but I have made a deal with the producer that he can start selling them slowly to other people next year, after such a long time (6 months), exclusive is not needed anymore. There are 48 movies on that site, 24 girls, 2 movies with each girl. People who pay for access to throatfucknextdoor have access to all 10 sites (because they pay the most, $29.95/month), it doesn’t work otherwise. Well, it does, because it’s hard to make it work on the server, but surfers don’t know about it otherwise.

The new movies for throatfuck will be semi-exclusive, since it’s the best option, they will stay exclusive for 3+ months. Made exactly for the site, with the girls I want and for a fair price.

I had the next door idea, since when I started they were hundreds of programs out there and for a new revshare program it was very hard to get affiliates. So I had to make something thats easy to remember and unique, for both webmasters and surfers. With 1500+ affiliates at the moment (with almost no advertising), I think it was a very good idea.
The stories are written by Patti (basschick on the message boards) who is a lovely lady and lives right under the Hollywood sign. She is a great niche expert and a really good friend of mine and without her I wouldn’t be where I am now. I was in many countries until now, but not in the states. It’s been difficult to get around since 11th september… I dont feel like going through all the VISA proccess, but I would love to visit the US one day, mainly New York and Los Angeles. I love the atmosphere of big cities, but I have to wait for a new president of yours.

US and EURO porn are totally different. US porn is great for theme sites, people are better actors, while EU porn had hotter girls, because there are really gorgeous girls in Czech, Slovakia or Hungary. But they can’t act, so they are good for simple porn movies with no dialogue at all.
SR: Would you say Fuck Next Door is a kind of “greatest hits” site for the whole network? What’s the idea behind it? Also all next door bargain pass say it includes six sites? Is that correct? Why isn’t it a network pass just like all the others (ie, fuck next door gets you shemales next door, big cock next door, etc.) just a different way of packing the database?
